Nancy Rubin Stuart is an award-winning journalist/author whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The New England Quarterly, American History, Huffington Post and other national publications. After moving with her husband from Manhattan to Cape Cod in 2008, she wrote a column for the Barnstable Patriot, contributed to Cape Cod Magazine and the Cape Cod Times. Nancy’s seven nonfiction books include a biography of Mercy Otis Warren, The Muse of the Revolution and Defiant Brides, a double biography of the wives of Benedict Arnold and Henry Knox. The mother of two adult children. Nancy serves as the Executive Director of the Cape Cod Writers Center in Osterville, Massachusetts. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, dancing, yoga and gardening on beautiful Cape Cod.
Over 75 people attended the recent Orleans Citizens Forum, which took a closer look at the status of medical treatment and care for all Cape Codders. A leadership panel from Cape Cod Healthcare included President and CEO Mike Lauf, Chief Medical Officer Donald A. Guadagnoli, MD, and cardiologist Elissa Thompson, MD, who together presented the state of medical services and treatment here on the Cape and explained what is yet to come.
