Rachael Devaney

Rachael Devaney is a freelance writer for multiple publications on Cape Cod, the South Shore, and in New York City. She grew up in Centerville, and attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in Journalism and Social Thought and Political Economy, graduating in 2001. Devaney is a regular business and entertainment contributing writer for the Cape Cod Times, The Barnstable Patriot, Wicked Local, and for lifestyle guide "Madame Noire." Among her many hobbies are reading, jogging along the beach, kayaking and swimming. She lives in Wareham with her daughter Fressia Jones, and can be contacted at rachaeldevaney@yahoo.com.

They will be officially recognized at the Compass of Hope Gala on Oct. 13 at the Oyster Harbors Club in Osterville.
